Getting men
back out there.
The BINS4Blokes initiative.
A national campaign calling for incontinence product disposal bins in male public toilets across Australia - so that men and boys managing incontinence can get out, stay active and live freely.
For millions of Australian men and boys, incontinence is a daily reality - but one of the least talked about. And one of the biggest practical barriers to getting out of the house? There is nowhere to dispose of incontinence products in male public toilets. BINS4Blokes is the national campaign working to change that. One bin at a time.
What is the BINS4Blokes campaign?
BINS4Blokes is a national awareness and advocacy campaign from Continence Health Australia. The campaign calls on local councils, shopping centres, sporting stadiums, universities, workplaces and all organisations with public toilets to install at least one incontinence product disposal bin in one cubicle of every male public toilet facility.
The goal is simple. When men can discreetly dispose of their products while they are out, they can get out more. That means more connection, more activity and more freedom in everyday life.
One bin. One cubicle. Every male public toilet.
Public opinion might be that incontinence rarely affects men - but this is not true. For boys and men who use incontinence products, there are very few or no places to dispose of them. This can make them want to stay home, missing out on everyday activities and community life. BINS4Blokes believes every Australian should have access to safe, discreet disposal options.
Three goals. One mission.
